The List of Secrets

Can the truth be known?

Which truth? What level?

Details or summation?

The astronomers tell us we are made of stardust,

and our sun will expand and return us to stardust.

Science becomes religion; religion becomes science.

There are so many secrets, too many secrets?

An infinity of secrets?

If there are many secrets, then there should be a list

of secrets, categories of secrets, secret places

for the hiding of the secret lists of secrets.

If there are keepers of secrets, then it would

be most efficient for the identity of the keepers

to be secret, for the protection of the secrets.

A great treasure would be the list of secrets

hidden in a secret place for the protection of

everyone who would be harmed or disturbed

by the truth, the secrets that reveal what we

long to know, how the universe began,

how it will end, or how it will never end.

What unacceptable harm would befall if

I knew the truth? If all secrets were revealed?

It is not only information that is classified;

people are classified.

Each class of secret keeper

keeps secrets apportioned to their class,

and in most cases the class of secrets

that a secret keeper is assigned to keep

is a secret. But what if I knew everything?

The secret list of secrets, the secret list of secret keepers,

and the secret reason why the universe is

composed of secrets?
